I believe John McCain is left handed also.
If you watch the video of Sarah Palin giving the Tea Party Address, she did a lot of gesturing and pointing with her left hand  I would be inclined to believe your professor, because every lefty I have ever known personally was very intelligent, that included both males and females and one of my sons

Well, my professor was loony so I didn't believe him on a lot of stuff.
And our very own Patsy is a lefty as well! Looks like we are all in good company! poor me..I'm a righty Everyone...weigh in! We need a scientific study

I actually come from a long line of lefties. Only I'm the only one on THIS side of my Great Grandmother's children, etc. 2 of 4 of my 2nd cousins are lefties as well as ALL the children of them LOL
And I think Obama is just pretending
