Interestingly, but not related, but very creepy, are the miscellaneous Communist symbols seen elsewhere:

Symbolism of Cogwheels in history:
Large mural at the organization Jones founded, the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights.
The mural features on one side a white man shooting a Latino woman holding a child. On the other side it features a white man putting chains on a young Black man. If you look closer, the background has an image of a sun, in the center is a child reading an open book, another symbol of communism.
Other miscellaneous things:
The Obama logo has some resemblance to most, if not all of the former Soviet State's coat of arms. Almost all have a rising sun, over some landscape, or over a field, usually of wheat. In the case of the Obama logo, it can be said that "kernels of revolution" have just been planted.
